Agent Provocateur Petale Noir : New Fall 2012 Perfume

More Noir perfumes for fall. Agent Provocateur will release a new fragrance called Pétale Noir in October 2012. The concept behind the fragrance is a hidden dark secret.  Pétale Noir is a floral oriental perfume, which includes notes of water lily, violet leaves, hyacinth, magnolia, rose absolute, ylang ylang, neroli, heliotrope, osmanthus, ginger, tobacco leaf, amber, and leather.

A body elixir will be launched alongside the perfume, “promising aphrodisiac properties and a tingly feeling on the skin.” Via theupcoming

  • sara: I wonder how it compares to the original AP. July 30, 2012 at 9:07am Reply

    • Victoria: I’m curious about that too. The original AP is a bombshell! July 30, 2012 at 9:47am Reply

  • Absolute Scentualist: I’ve tried 3 AP frags so far and loved the original enough to own some while the other two went on my buy list. This looks nice. I’m really intrigued by the flowery middle notes blending with those base notes. Adding it to my must try list. July 30, 2012 at 2:07pm Reply

    • Victoria: I would love something as steamy as the original AP, maybe with some new twist. So, yes, it sounds promising. July 30, 2012 at 4:35pm Reply

  • minette: you know, they’ve done a good enough job with the earlier scents that i am definitely going to seek this one out, as well. it took me years to be able to wear the boudoir-skank of the original, but i absolutely adore maitresse (even have a back-up bottle), and ‘strip,’ which is another animal entirely – smoky and powdery-perfect for wintertime. so yeah, something ‘noir’ from AP? sign me up! • Victoria: AP is a great line overall, from lingerie to body products. AP Original is one of the best sultry perfumes. July 30, 2012 at 4:47pm Reply

  • Lynn Morgan: Violet is ordinarily a note I despise, but this sounds so complex and compelling, I look forward to giving it a sniff. I am a huge fan of the original Agent Provocateur scent, but both it and the lingerie are far too racy for my pathetic love life1 I think the woman who wear both is way more femme fatale than I will ever be, even in my most twisted fantasies- some one more along the lines of Angelina Jolie, before she adopted all the rug rats or Pam Grier back when she was ‘Foxy Brown”. It packs far more erotic throw-weight than geeky little old me could ever muster! July 30, 2012 at 6:36pm Reply

    • Victoria: But one can fantasize! I love an idea of a woman wearing racy AP lingerie under a simple black shift dress. 🙂 July 31, 2012 at 9:02am Reply

    • Victoria: It is! Almost like glow in the dark. July 31, 2012 at 9:13am Reply
