Hermès has released a special edition of 24 Faubourg inspired by one of their famous silk scarves. This year’s patter is the Quadrige scarf. It was first created in 1973 by Pierre Péon, and it features “the heads of four horses and their harnesses which fit together like pieces in a puzzle to create a stylized, Hermès version of the quadriga, a two wheeled-chariot which appears on the Parthenon frieze.”
Eau de toilette 24, Faubourg, Quadrige limited edition, 100ml, €123. Available at Hermès boutiques.

Elise Thibodeau: Hermes just hired Alexander Wang, who should be in jail for violating the human rights of his laborers.
I would never buy Alexander Wang products, and now will never buy Hermes.
You have a beautiful website.
Thank you. December 27, 2012 at 9:26am
Victoria: Elise, I know that Balenciaga hired Alexander Wang to be their head designer, I can’t find any reference on his collaboration with Hermes. December 27, 2012 at 11:47am
Barbara: I wore 24 Faubourg when I was dating my husband, and it’s still his favorite. The new bottle design is beautiful. December 27, 2012 at 10:40am
Victoria: I like the horse motif too.
🙂 I wore A La Nuit when I first met my husband, and I think that it must be his top favorite on me. December 27, 2012 at 11:49am
annemariec: Just as I start to save my pennies for even the mots basic FB of 24 Faubourg EDP, Hermes brings out a special edition. Oh yes.
OT: Victoria, I bought a decant of AG’s Neroli and am loving it to bits. That and Houbigant’s Orangers en Fleurs are turning into the smelltracks of my summer. Weather is glorious. December 27, 2012 at 5:47pm
Victoria: I’m so glad that you like Annick Goutal’s Neroli as well. I really think that it’s one of the best orange blossom colognes out there (it definitely beats Tom Ford Neroli Portofino). December 27, 2012 at 5:55pm
Mirian: This is such a beautiful perfume. I wish I could wear it but all Hermes perfumes give me migraines. Such a shame. December 27, 2012 at 6:19pm
carole macleod: It’s a beautiful image, for sure! i could wear some tomorrow while i shovel the driveway here in northeastern nova scotia 🙂 24 is such an elegant fragrance-it smells so like liquid luxury. December 27, 2012 at 10:00pm
Lynn morgan: Did they change the actual scent? 24 Faubourg is one of my all time favorite scents, and a favorite of one of my favorite men as well! I would be heart broken if it changed! December 29, 2012 at 5:02pm
