  • Anjali: Great review V! I had no idea Mariage Frères even made candles, but now will have to check them out as you have made them sound wonderful! 🙂 August 16, 2005 at 11:25am Reply

  • mreenymo: I don’t usually burn candles. I know, I know…everyone assumes I do for some reason, but I just don’t.

However, I love your description of these candles, so if I ever have the opportunity to stumble across them here in LA, I just might take a sniff. 🙂

I love the “joint venture” with nowsmellthis!

  • BoisdeJasmin: Anjali, thank you! All of the candles are amazing, strong scented and long lasting. My own definitely burned longer than 50 hours, and I actually still some left. August 16, 2005 at 11:32am Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: R, you never fail to make me smile. I never used to burn candles until I was given a $5 Bed, Bath and Beyond Gardenia candle, which was so delicious, I started exploring more of home fragrances.

If you have a chance, definitely at least sniff these candles. Thé Dansant is another wonderful one.

I love collaborating with Robin–she is a wonderful person, and her blog is amazing. What more can one want? I wish all of my collaborations were this great. August 16, 2005 at 11:35am Reply

  • Tara: The white tea candle is also fantastic – do try it!

  • BoisdeJasmin: Tara, thank you very much. I was debating it as my next one to try, and you are making it even more enticing. August 16, 2005 at 2:46pm Reply

  • Sali: Victoria, it’s an honor to read your articles both here on your own fabulous blog and on NST. (Side note but I also wanted to thank you for the link to my site–that was a big surprise.) Best wishes with all of your endeavors.

  • Sali: Oh, re: the candle! The scent of it sounds lovely, but I’m also taken with the hues of pink in its presentaion. Very pretty–it would attract me to it in a store. August 16, 2005 at 6:37pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Sali, thank you so much for your kind words. I am only too glad to add a link to your site. Your range of talents amazes me. August 16, 2005 at 7:57pm Reply
