Lartisan_mandarin_tout_simplement

Mandarine Tout Simplement, the fresh new Eau de Toilette from L’Artisan Parfumeur, will weave top notes of green mandarin and ginger with the heart notes of frangipani and yellow mandarin. Red mandarin orange and white cedar provide a base upon which the composition rests. It will be presented in a 250ml bottle with a golden pump, priced at 90 euros. Mandarine Tout Simplement Eau de Toilette is a limited edition for the summer.

Mandarine Tout Simplement is going to be available from the usual L’Artisan venues. First-in-Fragrance already has it listed on the website.

  • Leslie: This sounds like a little slice of heaven. I love orange notes, frangipani and cedar. Could it possibly live up to what I imagine it to be? March 10, 2006 at 11:02pm Reply

  • violetnoir: I love frangipani! Love it! Add to that mandarin and ginger with cedar?? V, this sounds wonderful. I can’t wait to sample this.

I never knew there were so many different colors of mandarin 🙂 March 11, 2006 at 12:36am Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: It sounds wonderful, doesn’t it? I also love the orange bottle with the pump (even though I normally really do not like atomizer pumps). March 10, 2006 at 11:44pm Reply

  • annE: Thanks for the news! I would be tempted to buy this unsniffed, if it weren’t for the frangipani. Hmmm, must find a sample now!

I find orange/citrus scents so refreshing in the summer. A couple of years ago, I went through an entire bottle of Caron’s Eau Forte. 🙂 March 11, 2006 at 12:06pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: R, at first, I was lukewarm about the idea, but seeing frangipani changed my mind! I am looking forward to sampling it too. March 11, 2006 at 12:38pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Mark, I never knew this until I received several samples of natural oil. They smell rather different. My favourite was green mandarin–zesty, sparkly and slightly sweet. This L’Artisan sounds great. March 11, 2006 at 12:40pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Ann, I love citrus fragrances in the summer. I used up a bottle of AG Le Chevrefeuille (ok, it is not straight up citrus, more a hesperidic floral) two summers ago. I usually like citrus blended with florals, such as Yuzu Rouge and Rosine Un Zest de Rose. March 11, 2006 at 12:41pm Reply

  • risa: i am more excited about their absinthe scent, but this bottle and description both just sound so endearing. the little mandarin-bulb of the atomizer just tops it perfectly. March 11, 2006 at 2:06pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Risa, I am excited about Fou d’Absinthe as well, although the mention of frangipani made me crave Mandarine right away. Sounds like a nice summer release. March 11, 2006 at 2:14pm Reply
