Those who enjoyed the last year’s edition of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Extrême will be glad to know that it is going to be reintroduced for the holiday season of 2006. Saks5thAvenue is already taking pre-orders on it. The notes for the 2006 version include bergamot, tea, orange blossom, rose centifolia, jasmine sambac, cattleya orchid, osmanthus, patchouli, vanilla, benzoin.

Christina H.: I was just talking to the sales lady about this one today! I was told that it will come in an amethyst colored bottle and will be priced like last year’s bottle. September 13, 2006 at 7:38pm
Katie: Hey thanks! I hadn’t heard that yet. I weirdly enjoyed the Extreme, whereas I found the regular Flowerbomb sort of ho-hum. That’s wonderful to hear: waiting a fewish weeks sure beats paying exorbitant prices on ebay. September 13, 2006 at 5:16pm
BoisdeJasmin: Katie, I also enjoyed the Extreme version, although initially it struck me as overly sweet. I might consider a bottle of it, but I would certainly not pay exorbitant prices on Ebay. September 14, 2006 at 12:29am
BoisdeJasmin: Christina, you are right–it is deep amethyst, even more beautiful than gold. I do not have a photo right now, but I will try to scan one later. September 14, 2006 at 12:30am

BoisdeJasmin: Privet! Unfortunately, I do not have a bottle photo in a format I can upload. If it helps, the flacon is just like the one above, but tinted with metallic mauve. October 3, 2006 at 10:52am
