  • Madelyn E: Happy Halloween dear Victoria !
Thank you for such a lovely update on the Bond No 9 line. While I have been drawn to the exquisitely colorful bottles — I sadly confess that I have been let down once I sample the actual “juice ” of numerous Bonds . I think the marketing and packaging is brilliant ( a true Frenchwoman ) would be this creative. however I am ttrying to like one of the scents but have failed to “Bond ” (play on words ) with any.
Do you have any personal favorites ? i would appreciate and welcome your ideas ! By the way , what do you think of Fresh – Pink Jasmine and Fracas ? I applied my birthday funds to these today. (Fracas – perfume spray ) !

  • Judith: This is a wonderful idea, but, like Madelyn, I admire their packaging ideas but only like a couple of their fragrances. My favorites are New Haarlem (even better in a candle) and Chinatown. But for a Bond fan, this would be a great Christmas present (although it is rivaled by the starry crystal Noho bottle–beautiful!) • Tania: Eek, it seems that blending of already composed fragrances is best done by just spraying both on, not risking mucking up the balance by pouring them into a common bottle. But otherwise, lovely presentation as always, although I am certainly in agreement that certain of the scents are a notch above the rest. (I’m wearing Chinatown today.) • Anya: How I long to be able to put together packaging like that. The juice, however, as others have noted, is not something I aspire to, finding Bond strangely flat. I really wanted to like this line, so I’ll settle on being pleased by the visual aesthetic. October 31, 2006 at 10:34am Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Madelyn, I agree that the packaging is just stunning! I cannot say that I have 15 Bonds I absolutely love, but I would just love to have this box for displaying on my vanity set. October 31, 2006 at 2:23pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Judith, that Nuit de Noho bottle is stunning! I much prefer it to the Swarowski crystal Chinatown bottle from last year. This wins out for me, but then again, I love blue tints. October 31, 2006 at 4:46pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Tania, yes, Chinatown is my absolute favourite Bond. October 31, 2006 at 4:47pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Anya, I cannot say that I am a huge fan of everything Bond does. I find many fragrances too thin and others flat, but there are a few that I have grown to love–Chinatown, New Haarlem and Broadway Nite. October 31, 2006 at 4:50pm Reply
