Estée Lauder has unveiled a limited edition Pleasures collection that was inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow. The collection includes Pleasures eau de parfum in limited edition bottle in frosted ballerina pink and two of Paltrow’s favorite bath and body products, Soothing Bath Salts and Body Satin Spray. “I enjoy a nice, hot bath with bath salts and surrounded by tea candles. It’s very relaxing, like a mini-spa at home,” says Paltrow about the collection. If you enjoy the original Pleasures, I would recommend trying Satin Spray, which has a wonderful texture similar to the dry oil of Azurée (Tom Ford Collection).

The fragrance and ancillary products are available from Nordstrom and esteelauder.com.

  • cynthia: Pleasures was the fragrance I wore for years. I haven’t touched it for a while though. I loved Azuree (found out about it thanks to your post) and went through 3 bottles of it. Delicious stuff! October 3, 2006 at 10:48am Reply

  • cynthia: Only the bottle is different, right? October 3, 2006 at 10:50am Reply

  • Erika: I was sniffing this last week, and as far as my preggo nose could tell it’s only the packaging that has changed – it *is* a very pretty pink…

Bought Pure White Linen though as I needed a new easy everyday fragrance for the days when I’m just not psyched enough for Feminite du Bois! October 3, 2006 at 12:39pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Cynthia, I also love Azuree. It is a very easy to enjoy fragrance, yet it has enough complexity to hold my interest. October 3, 2006 at 1:11pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Cynthia, yes, only the bottle differs. October 3, 2006 at 1:12pm Reply

  • BoisdeJasmin: Erika, Pure White Linen was my standby this summer. The crisp top notes were perfect in the heat. Right now, it is definitely the Feminite du Bois season. October 3, 2006 at 1:13pm Reply
