Burberry is launching a new fragrance, Burberry Body Tender, which is a variation on the original Burberry Body. “Burberry Body Tender combines the relaxed, playful attitude of the Burberry girl with the energy of the brand’s London hometown.” It includes notes of lemon, apple, absinthe, rose, jasmine, sandalwood, amber, Cashmeran (musk with strong woody-ambery nuances), and musk.
Scent opens with a fresh surge of lemon, crisp apple and green absinthe as top notes. Delicate blend of dewy English rose, white jasmine and sandalwood at the heart of the scent. Soft base of cashmeran, amber and musk gives understated warmth and femininity.
The advertising campaign features British actress and Burberry model Cara Delevingne. The Eau de Toilette is available in 85, 60, and 35ml bottles. Available at select department stores and at burberry.com. Via press release

emma: does anyone know if burberry gold is still available? March 1, 2013 at 1:08pm
Victoria: I think that it was a limited edition, but I could be mistaken. You should still be able to find it on Ebay. March 1, 2013 at 1:36pm
Claire: I’ve never heard of “Cashmeran” base. Is it a name that Burberry invented or is it a well-known lingo in the perfume world? Do you know anything about this, Victoria? Many thanks. March 1, 2013 at 3:48pm
Victoria: Claire, it’s an ingredient created and patented by IFF (a fragrance and flavor manufacturing company). It’s a musk material that has an interesting woody-amber nuance. It’s very rich and multifaceted, and it’s difficult to imagine that all of these facets come from a single molecule. March 1, 2013 at 3:57pm
Claire: Very interesting, it being a synthetic molecule. Thank you for the information, Victoria! March 2, 2013 at 2:28am
