Estee Lauder Pleasures Gwyneth Paltrow Edition : Perfume News

Estee_lauder_gp_pleasures_2

Estée Lauder has unveiled a limited edition Pleasures collection that was inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow. The collection includes Pleasures eau de parfum in limited edition bottle in frosted ballerina pink and two of Paltrow’s favorite bath and body products, Soothing Bath Salts and Body Satin Spray. “I enjoy a nice, hot bath with bath salts and surrounded by tea candles. It’s very relaxing, like a mini-spa at home,” says Paltrow about the collection. If you enjoy the original Pleasures, I would recommend trying Satin Spray, which has a wonderful texture similar to the dry oil of Azurée (Tom Ford Collection).

The fragrance and ancillary products are available from Nordstrom and esteelauder.com.

Victoria Beckham is Concerned : Perfume Article

Intimatelybeckham

But I wasn’t sure if anyone would want to smell like me.”

Roja Dove on Luxury and Perfume

It’s such a thrill. A lot of perfumes disappeared because they were no good or were of the moment and ceased to be relevant. But these ones – all the ones in my parfumerie – are more than relevant today; they were probably just ahead of their time. When you take scents like Miss Dior or Vol de Nuit by Guerlain, you have formulas which are still avant-garde and totally wearable. Commercial perfumery is nowhere near as creative,”

says Roja Dove, the fragrance expert and the mastermind behind Roja Dove Haute Parfumerie in Harrod’s, in an interview to Alison Kerr. See the rest of the article in The Scotsman. Thank you to Tara for the link.
