Aquolina is releasing a new fragrance for men called Blue Sugar. Its female counterpart Pink Sugar has been a top sellers for the Italian company, as has its luscious gourmand composition Chocolovers. Blue Sugar features notes of mandarin, bergamot, star anise, ginger, lavender, licorice, patchouli, coriander, cedarwood, vanilla, tonka bean and caramelized sugar. It is slated to appear in November (via press release).

Robin: Must go & compare to the Pink Sugar notes, it certainly sounds very similar. Wonder if such a thing is likely to appeal to men, or if they’ll make it less cotton candy-ish? July 24, 2006 at 3:14pm
BoisdeJasmin: R, here are the notes for Pink Sugar: orange, bergamot, fig leaves, raspberry, lily of the valley, candy floss, licorice, red berries, strawberry, woods, powdery musk, vanilla, caramel. They both seem to be woody orientals. I wonder what it is going to be like. The notes certainly sound appealing. July 24, 2006 at 3:28pm
