Chloé Rosebud is only one of several rose embellished perfumes that launch this spring. Another one is Prada Infusion de Rose. Created by perfumer Daniela Andrier, who is also responsible for Infusion d’Iris, Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger, Infusion de Tubéreuse and Infusion de Vétiver, the composition is reported to include notes of Turkish and Bulgarian rose, mandarin, peppermint, yerbamaté, and beeswax. Priced at $105, it is going to be available from Bergdorf Goodman this spring. via Vogue.com.

flittersniffer: I was going to say the exact same thing – none of the Infusions has moved me since d’Iris, and the orange one was frankly disagreeable – it had that furry orange squash (cordial) quality I get in Boss Orange – though the packaging was sublime! Victoria: Fleur d’Oranger was also my least favorite. It reminded me of a pale version of L’Heure Bleue, perhaps the intention, perhaps not.

Victoria: You know, I was resmelling it and Bulgari Pour Femme at Sephora the other day, and it seems to me that both are a bit different. They are not as rich or diffusive as they used to be. I bought a tiny bottle of Pour Femme and compared it to my older version. Sure enough, the new one, though lovely, smells thinner.
