Caron is opening its boutique at Henri Bendel in New York on October 17th, thus inaugurating the Fragrance Week. The boutique will feature several Urn fragrances and will be located on the second floor.  Henri Bendel is located at 712 Fifth Avenue.

My week has been going from stressful and hectic to more stressful and more hectic. On such occasions I like to escape into the beautiful world of cinema provided by my friend Self-Styled Siren. In the context of Bois de Jasmin, I would like to point out two particularly marvelous articles: Perfume at the Movies Part I and Perfume at the Movies Part II. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Fifth Hermèssence called Osmanthe Yunnan will be joining the existing four fragrances. A fragrance created by Jean-Claude Ellena will be based on tea. Osmanthe Yunnan will be available at the NYC Hermès boutique at the end of October 2005.

For the holiday season, Yves Saint Laurent is releasing limited edition bottles of its three fragrances, Cinéma, Opium et Opium pour Homme.

Diptyque is releasing a new fragrance in the Eau de Toilette concentration called Do Son. Referring to the resort on the coast of Vietnam, southeast of Hai Phong City, the fragrance is composed around tuberose. It will soon be available from Beautyhabit.
