Joya and D.S. & Durga Staghorn Sumac : New Fragrance

Joya

American niche brands Joya and D.S. Durga are about to launch Staghorn Sumac Eau de Parfum, a fragrance created in collaboration between two houses. Created by David Seth Moltz, it is built around bison grass, lily and musk. Moltz describes the scent as part of “a botanical and historical survey of the Great Plains, its people and its wild plants. With this scent, I wanted to shed light on America’s rich botanical history.”

Staghorn Sumac officially launches on September 8, for Fashion’s Night Out at In God We Trust in New York City, FSC Barber locations in New York City’s West Village and Lower East Side and San Francisco. Staghorn Sumac will be available from joyastudio.com/shop, dsanddurga.com, and beautyhabit.com as well as select boutiques worldwide later this fall. Via press release

  • Suzanna: Well, that certainly makes for a change! A celebration of the Great Plains in fragrant form–I think it’s marvelous and if they’d included a minor whiff of cow chip I think I’d be in love. September 8, 2011 at 7:44am Reply
