LuckyScent “Untitled”

LuckyScent is collaborating with a select group of the world’s top perfumers to create breakthrough scents for a new fragrance ‘collective,’ under the name “Untitled.” This series of limited edition scents will be exclusive to LuckyScent and its retail store, Los Angeles’ Scent Bar. Perfumers scheduled to collaborate on “Untitled” include Tristan Brando of Monyette Paris, Sarah Horowitz of Creative Scent, Sarah Barton-King of Pink Room UK, Jalaine Sommers of Jalaine, and Susanne Lang. The first in the “Untitled” series will launch on March 1, 2006 with Untitled #1 by Yosh Han. …

Han, a Bay Area perfumer with her own eponymous collection has been creating fragrances since 1994. Han’s innovative approach and style to the aromatic arts has garnered a cult following. Yosh pushed past her normal boundaries and created a caramel scent with notes of honey, vanilla and myrrh. To add depth, she added oakmoss and amber. For texture, cardamom, clove and cinnamon, and Turkish rose and cedar to soften the edges. Hints of waterlily and juniper add a final lift to the scent.

The Untitled series will also include:
Untitled #2 by Tristan Brando – launching April 2006
Vanilla, Heliotrope, Spice and floral notes
Untitled #3 by Sarah Horowitz – launching May 2006
Yuzu, Violet and Red Amber
Untitled #4 by Sarah Barton King – launching July 2006
Bergamot, Peach, Tiare, Orris, Vanilla, Woods
Untitled #5 by Susanne Lang – launching August 2006
Untitled #6 by Jalaine – launching September 2006

Each fragrance is a limited edition of 150 pieces. Prices for each scent range from $65 – $135 and is offered as a perfume oil. From LuckyScent newsletter.
