Thierry Mugler Angel Eau de Toilette : New Fragrance

Aedt

Another new launch from Thierry Mugler is the Eau de Toilette version of Angel. It is composed by Robertet’s perfumer Amandine Marie. The press release describes it as “Oriental—Gourmand—Powdery.”

“Bergamot is the energy behind this breath of fresh air. It meets with red berries in a motion that is perfectly in synch — explosive with a hint of pepper. The pleasures of light-hearted sweets, the voluptuousness of childhood candies, and that feeling of breaking the rules… The sweets become delicate and vaporous: subtle dabs of praline, berries so plump you want to eat them or imagine them in a tangy jelly… Cunningly candid, the patchouli-vanilla accord is unsettling. It is tempered by cedar, a newcomer to the woody casting of the original fragrance. White musk adds nuance to the base of the fragrance, secretly feeding this unique addiction.”

Angel Eau de Toilette will be available in 1.4 fl. oz. refillable Spray ($67.00) and 2.7 fl. oz. refillable Spray ($97.00) at all Nordstrom, Saks, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus locations and www.MuglerStoreUSA.com.

  • Suzanna: I just don’t know about “Cunningly candid, the patchouli-vanilla accord is unsettling.”

And, yes, there always must be a breaking of the rules. Without which a modern fragrance is nothing, non? October 19, 2011 at 9:50am Reply
